electric & mechanical fuel pressure gauge with the install kit, sending unit
The fuel pressure gauge can monitor low and high pressures to prevent damage to the fuel system. The correct fuel pressure is essential for optimizing engine operation and performance. Low fuel pressure will cause idling, performance degradation, and fuel economy degradation. When the amount of fuel pushed through the fuel injector exceeds the required fuel pressure, the higher fuel pressure will result in a high air-fuel ratio. A rich air-fuel ratio can cause black exhaust and high emissions, which can overheat and damage the catalytic converter. If the fuel regulator does not return the proper amount of fuel, the result may be higher than normal fuel pressure.
