Pyrometer exhaust gas temperature EGT gauge with probe sensor

An exhaust gas temperature gauge (EGT gauge or EGT sensor) is a meter used to monitor the exhaust gas temperature of an internal combustion engine in conjunction with a thermocouple-type pyrometer. EGT gauges are commonly used in cars and aeroplanes. Drivers or pilots can get an idea of the vehicle’s air-fuel ratio (AFR) by monitoring EGT gauge. To avoid all the consequences of excessive exhaust gas temperature, we recommend installing an exhaust gas temperature gauge. Because the operating temperature of your engine is too high, the engine may be seriously damaged. The exhaust gas temperature gauge can help you monitor the temperature of the exhaust gas leaving the combustion chamber and let you know the amount of afterburning occurring in the exhaust manifold.
